How We Helped Our Clients Pack for Their Move in Metairie

By Nola Organizers · · Metairie, Jefferson Parish
2 days Project duration
2 Organizers
10 hrs Organizer time
4 Downstairs areas

When a Metairie client needed to move for work, she asked Nola Organizers to help prepare the downstairs areas of her home for the move.

The project included the kitchen, dining room, laundry room, and bathroom. We first organized the items in each area, then packed them carefully so the move would be easier to manage.

Two organizers completed the project over two five-hour sessions. We wrapped fragile items, labeled boxes, and kept each area organized as it was packed.

Step 1 Organize Each Area

We started in the kitchen, organizing the items and planning how they would be packed. Grouping similar items together made it easier to decide what needed extra protection and how each box should be labeled. This is the same approach we use through our organizing services.

The same process was used throughout the downstairs areas: kitchen, dining room, laundry room, and bathroom.

Step 2 Pack and Protect

Once each area was organized, we packed the items into boxes. Fragile pieces were wrapped before going into their boxes, and items were kept together by room and category. Our packing services are designed to make this part of a move more manageable.

  • Wrapped fragile kitchen and dining items
  • Packed items by room and category
  • Used boxes that were manageable to move
  • Labeled boxes clearly

The Dining Room Before Packing

We continued through the dining room and the remaining downstairs spaces, organizing each area before its contents were packed. This helped keep the boxes clear and easy to place when the client arrived at her new home.

The Finished Packing Setup

By the end of the second session, the downstairs areas had been worked through and packed. Boxes were staged neatly, with labels that make it easier to identify where each group of belongings belongs.

Our client was very happy with how much we were able to pack and with the care taken throughout the project.
