Our client had recently moved into her new home, and our team was helping her unpack, organize, and get settled.

We worked in several areas of the home, including the bedroom, living room, bathroom, and closet. For this part of the project, one professional organizer spent about two hours unpacking and setting up the closet.

The goal was to create a practical arrangement that would be easy for our client to use and maintain with her busy work schedule.

Before: A Closet Still in the Moving Process

Clothing, boxes, packing materials, hangers, and other belongings still needed to be sorted and put away. Some clothing had already been hung, while other items remained on the shelves and floor.

Unpacking everything first allowed us to see what our client had and determine where each category would fit best.

Step 1 Unpack and Sort the Closet

We unpacked the remaining boxes and bags, removed packing materials, and grouped the clothes and belongings by type. Clearing the packaging as we worked opened the floor and made it easier to use the full closet.

Step 2 Hang, Fold, and Arrange

Clothes that belonged on hangers were hung, while items that needed to be folded were folded and placed on the existing shelves. Other belongings were assigned practical homes based on the storage already available.

This straightforward setup supports the same goal as our unpacking services and closet organization services: helping clients settle in with systems that work for everyday life.

The Finished Closet

By the end of the session, everything had a place. Clothing was easier to see and access, shelves had clear uses, and the floor was open from the doorway to the back of the closet.

The completed setup gave our client a functional closet she could begin using right away as she continued settling into her new home.
