The Role
We have an opening for an assistant organizer. Weekday sessions, in-home work across Greater New Orleans. You would be joining a small team that has completed 500+ projects and takes quality seriously.
Sessions run 3 to 6 hours. You are inside a client's home the entire time — sorting, categorizing, making decisions about how a space should function, and building systems the client can actually maintain after we leave.
The clients we work with are trusting us on days that are often stressful — a move, a downsizing, years of clutter they have not known how to tackle. You need to show up calm and focused, earn their trust quickly, and work without needing a lot of direction once a session gets going.
This is not cleaning. We build systems that hold up because they are designed around how a specific person actually lives. That difference matters to us, and it needs to matter to you too.
What We're Looking For
- Available weekday daytimes with reliable transportation in Greater New Orleans
- Comfortable spending 4 to 6 hours on your feet inside a client's home
- Calm and composed when clients are emotional, overwhelmed, or indecisive
- Treats what you see and hear in a client's home as completely confidential
- Takes pride in the result — not just getting through the session
- Can follow direction and figure things out when plans change mid-session
Previous organizing experience is a plus, not a requirement. Attitude and attention to detail matter more.
"I started this to do the work right. The people who join this team need to care about that too — not just getting through a session, but leaving something genuinely better than we found it."
