How It Works

Consultation & Planning

We start with a conversation about your space, needs, and goals. You share what’s working, what’s not, and your vision for the space. From there, we create a tailored action plan that fits your timeline, budget, and lifestyle.

Decluttering

We go through items together, using our simple keep, donate, or toss method. You decide what stays, and we handle the rest — including boxing donations, coordinating drop-offs, and removing trash.

Organizing

Once the clutter is gone, we create functional, easy-to-maintain systems that make sense for how you live. Every item gets a designated place, and we label and arrange it in a way that looks great and works effortlessly.

Finishing Touches

We add containers, bins, and dividers as needed (either from what you have or sourced through us). The result is a polished, functional space that’s ready to use immediately.

What to Expect During an Organizing Session

When we arrive, we are ready to transform your space with a clear plan that we have already mapped out together. Any supplies or products needed will have been discussed in advance, so there are no surprises.

Most clients let us get to work while they go about their day, knowing the plan is in place and the team understands the goals. We group similar items, arrange them for easy access and storage, and set up simple systems that are easy to maintain.

By the end of the session, your space will be organized, functional, and ready to use without you having to lift a finger.

FAQ - Everything You Need to Know

What areas of the home do you organize?

We organize all areas of the home. Closets, kitchens & pantries, bedrooms, bathrooms, offices, garages, and more!

What happens during an organizing session really depends on the space we’re working in and what you need help with.

For example, if we’re organizing a closet, we’ll start by clearing everything out of the space if needed and getting items off the floor. From there, we’ll categorize your clothing, fold and hang items properly, and make sure everything is placed in a way that makes sense for how you use it. We may also color coordinate, sort by category, and clean shelves as we go to create a fresh, functional setup.

If we’re working in a pantry, we typically check expiration dates, wipe down shelves, and sort items by category. We may also transfer items into containers or bins, depending on the setup and what will work best for your space.

Every organizing session is different because every home and client is different. It also depends on what you want help with, whether that’s a closet, kitchen, pantry, garage, or another area of the home.

Before your session, we go over everything with you so we know exactly what your goals are and how you want your space to function. This allows us to fully customize the process and make sure your space is organized in a way that works for your lifestyle.

Decluttering services focus on helping you go through your belongings and decide what to keep, toss, or donate. We work alongside you during this process to make those decisions easier and more manageable.

Organizing services go a step further and are typically more hands-on from start to finish. In these sessions, we handle the full process of transforming your space—sorting, categorizing, organizing, and labeling everything to create a functional system. Depending on the project, this can also include setting up the space so it’s easy to maintain long-term.

In short, decluttering is about deciding what stays, while organizing is about fully setting up and structuring the space once those decisions are made.

What determines how long a space will take to organize really depends on several factors. The size of the space, the scope of the project, the level of disorganization, and what exactly you want help with all play a role. It can also depend on whether we’re incorporating organizing products, doing labeling, or setting up new systems.

Every space is different, whether it’s a closet, kitchen, garage, or another area of the home.

Once we learn more about your space and your goals, we’re able to give you a clear idea of what we can accomplish during each scheduled session, so you know what to expect moving forward.

A typical scheduled session is 5 hours. Within that time, we help you get as much done as we can.

Yes. Absolutely. We can organize your space without bins or containers.

Many times, we work with what you already have and make the most of your existing storage. Containers are always optional and incur an additional cost if you’d like to incorporate them.

If we feel like bins or containers would truly improve the functionality of your space, we’ll definitely let you know and make recommendations. But they are not required, and we’re able to create organized, functional systems without them when needed.

Yes. Each of our organizers comes with a basic supply kit for every session. This typically includes items like scissors, tape, Ziploc bags, paper towels, trash bags, and other small tools we use to sort and organize your space efficiently.

Organizing products such as bins, containers, or storage systems are always optional and not included by default. If your space would benefit from specific products, we’ll let you know what we recommend. In some cases, we can provide them, or we’ll guide you on exactly what to purchase based on your space.

For most organizing sessions, we handle everything for you. You’re welcome to be home and involved, or you can step away and let us take care of it.

We’ll keep you updated as needed, but our goal is to make the process as easy and hands-off as possible for you.

Yes. If your project is focused on organizing (not decision-making or decluttering), you don’t need to be present the entire time. Many clients choose a more hands-off approach and let us take care of setting up the space.

We’ll organize everything in a way that makes sense for your home and routines, and make sure you understand the system once we’re done. If any input is needed, we’ll check in with you as we go.

Most clients see a noticeable difference after the first session. Larger projects may take multiple sessions to fully complete.

We create systems that are designed to work with your daily routines and how you actually live. Our goal is to make things easy to maintain, not complicated.

That said, life gets busy, and it’s normal for spaces to need a reset over time. We offer refresh sessions for clients who want ongoing support, whether that’s every few months, twice a year, or on a regular schedule. It’s completely up to you.
