1. Services Overview

Nola Organizers provides professional home organizing services in the New Orleans area, including decluttering, organizing, packing, and unpacking services. Services are scheduled in 5-hour sessions and may include between 1 to 4 organizers, depending on the selected package. We provide guidance, systems, and hands-on organizing support. However, results will vary based on the size of the project, level of disorganization, time booked, and client participation.

2. Booking & Payment

  • Full payment is required upfront to reserve your session.
  • Once booked, your time slot is held exclusively for you and is not made available to other clients.
  • After payment is received, you will receive a confirmation receipt.
  • We will contact you the day before your session to confirm details.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Credit/Debit Card
  • Venmo
  • Zelle

3. Refunds, Rescheduling & Expiration

  • All services are non-refundable.
  • We understand that plans change and will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling requests.
  • Sessions must be used within six (6) months of the purchase date, or they will expire.

4. Consultations

We offer free phone consultations to discuss your project, goals, and recommended session structure prior to booking.

5. Client Responsibilities

To ensure a productive session, clients agree to:

  • Provide a safe and accessible working environment
  • Be available for decision-making during decluttering sessions (unless otherwise agreed)
  • Remove or secure highly valuable, fragile, or sentimental items prior to the session
  • Communicate goals and priorities clearly

Clients may choose to be present or not present during sessions, depending on the type of service. Some services, particularly decluttering, require client involvement.

6. Scope of Work & Results

We don’t guarantee specific results, but we’ll always work to make as much progress as possible during your session.

Before your project begins, we’ll walk through your space and goals, so you have a clear understanding of what we’ll realistically be able to accomplish based on the time booked and the number of organizers scheduled.

The amount we can complete depends on:

  • The size and condition of the space
  • The number of organizers booked
  • The total time scheduled
  • How quickly decisions can be made during the process

Our goal is to make meaningful, visible progress and set up systems that work for your space and daily routine.

7. Liability

While we take care in handling your belongings:

  • Nola Organizers is not responsible for pre-existing damage to items or property
  • We are not liable for normal wear and tear or minor incidental damage during organizing sessions
  • Clients are responsible for informing us of fragile, high-value, or sensitive items in advance

8. Photos & Marketing

We take before-and-after photos of projects for documentation, internal reference, and marketing purposes.

These photos help us:

  • Showcase our work and results
  • Provide proof of work to clients
  • Maintain consistency when returning for future sessions or refreshes

We make reasonable efforts to avoid capturing or identifying personal information.

If you prefer not to have your space shared on social media, please notify us before your session.

9. Access to Property

Clients may choose to be present or provide access to the home.

If access is granted while the client is not present:

  • The client assumes responsibility for access permissions
  • Nola Organizers is not responsible for security systems, pets, or third-party access issues

10. Safety & Working Conditions

We reserve the right to pause or refuse services if conditions are unsafe, including but not limited to:

  • Structural hazards
  • Unsanitary conditions
  • Pest infestations
  • Aggressive or unrestrained pets
  • Any environment that poses a risk to our team

Clients are responsible for ensuring pets are secured or safely managed during sessions so our team can work efficiently and without disruption.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana.

12. Agreement

By booking services with Nola Organizers, you agree to these Terms of Service.
